Religion is still taking the lives of the Innocent!

Published by toolman11 at 12:37 am under Religion Edit This

It just amazes me that people continue to act like neanderthals.

This man and woman both should get the death penalty. They have neglected the primary role of parenthood by way of their ego.To protect your child at all cost. It is all about social acceptance when you do such a stupid thing like this. If this doesn’t prove to people how much of a book the Bible is then just keep drinking the kool aid there is no help for you. The people who say prayer saved my wife, my child, my mother or father well I say how about all those prayer didn’t do a damn thing for how about them. It is time we started holding complete idiots accountable for behavior such as this and maybe even the preachers and or other members who reinforce such neglectful behavior. It is time for adults to grow up and accept that all religions are man made philosophy’s and only by accepting this can we keep such irresponsible parents like these from endangering the lives of the innocent. If they insist on acting like they have the mental capacity of a worm perhaps holding them responsible for such stupidity with fear of jail or the death penalty we cause people to be forced to grow up. It is basically a stunting of the mind that allows these religions to have such control over a person. Imagine you know your child is sick but instead of taking it to the Dr. or hospital you hold a prayer meeting at your house. Man I hope these under developed mental cases don’t have any other children they could sacrifice in the name of Osiris or Zeus hell it ain’t no different just because they use the name of Jesus. They are all mythologizes and it is time America the stupid stood up and admitted it. Don’t get me wrong it is not just xtianity that is stupid all of them are Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism and they all fight for members and they all think they are right. Well guess what they are all man made ideas and opinions and only when a Mom and Dad understands that their religion is only helpful to a point, is religion even worth introducing to a child. Letting your child die while you pray is not a very helpful sales pitch for your god. Regardless of which fairy tale you pray to. Come on people, stop letting your ego kill innocent children. Enough already with the Bull Shit!

    Oh,
    Holy shit toolman!
This is not a can of worms it is a 55gallon drum of them!!!! Now, mind you, I am on the same page as you philosophically. Jesus is a fairy tale. But! Und this is one big but! Do you really want the government to dictate what you can do with your family? Granted I think these people are nuts! Does that naturally mean that family life should be imposed upon by the dominant paradigm of social preseption? Should you have the “right” to raise your children as you see fit? What is more personal than ones view of divinity? I am a dyed in the wool atheist, I have NO god. But strangely enough I see some value in protecting a families right to aproach life in the way they see fit. BECAUSE, I am surrounded by people who have imaginary friends in the sky! Ergo, I do not want them to hold me to their ‘psychotic’ standard of what should go on in my household.

This is big stuff brother. I worked in the medical field for some 12 yrs and I thought about this stuff frequently. But the frequency of my dilliberations did not resolve this issue for me. I do not want xtians dictating to me what is ethical behavior in my family, and I am WAY out numbered in terms of my belife. Atheisim is not the dominant paradigm.

So the question becomes what roll has government to play in the lives of citizens? Where do you draw the line in terms of being a sanctioned being? Do children have rights? How do we determine what those rights are?

I really like your posting, but, I don’t think it gives resolve to this issue, or even addresses it in full. (as if it could) Just thinking about these types of issues without emotional appeal is no simple task. It is an intelectual morass.

I understand, that to the rational mind it seems simple, dismiss the loonies! But the loonies outnumber us! So the protection of law that loonies can hide within are the same protections that serve the “NON-Belivers…???

Flesh it out for me brother…”Where do you draw the line? I’m not telling you I’m asking you.” Jello Biafra… I want xtians out of my life.. But do I have the same responsibility to stay out of theirs?

Its not as simple as it seems.

Some very good points Max. Actually the government already tells us how to do just about everything. There was a whole church in Atlanta a few years back that allowed the preacher to physically punish their children in front of the whole church well that dumb ass went to jail and so did the parents. Now I think physical punishment in front of a bunch of brainwashed neanderthals is humiliating enough but these idiots went to far letting the child die. Religion is nothing but mental and emotional entertainment it has some value to society but unlike the people who attend these brainwashing ceremonies i believe you can be a good person and do the right thing by your fellow man without the fear of punishment and or the hope of a reward. These people cross the line it is one thing to pray and have faith and all that other bullshit but most xtians I know still go to the fucking Dr. and continue to pray I had a uncle that was a pastor of a church he had 4 triple bypass surgery’s well without those he would have died in his early 40’s instead of his late 50. All that praying could have helped him live longer but we know for sure the damn surgery did. I understand your point it does seem logical to those who are not in la la land. I take your point but the thing is these people murder their child and should pay for it.
